Estos paquetes de safari se adaptan a las necesidades de los fotógrafos. Para ello, tenemos consideraciones específicas.

Tamaño del grupo

Estos paquetes de safari están diseñados específicamente para grupos pequeños.

En cada vehículo, normalmente tendríamos 3 pasajeros para permitir a cada uno una fila completa de asientos. Sin embargo, podemos tener un máximo de 6  por vehículo si todos están dispuestos a compartir la misma fila de asientos con cada invitado disfrutando de un asiento en la ventana, esto puede economizar el presupuesto.

Para los fotógrafos con alta exigencia , recomendamos un máximo de 2-3 invitados por vehículo para permitir que cada uno tenga acceso a mínimo  una fila entera (2 asientos) para su uso exclusivo. De este modo, los fotógrafos  pueden trabajar  desde ambos lados del vehículo en función de los avistamientos. El fotógrafo  también puede utilizar un asiento para el equipo. Si es necesario, también podemos quitar una o dos filas  de asientos (para instalación de grandes trípodes)  según la petición del cliente,  para permitir la mejor fotografía y/o filmación.

Vehículos

Nuestros vehículos están hechos a la medida de las necesidades de los fotógrafos. Tenemos dos opciones de transporte:  jeeps 4X4 Safari Land Cruiser personalizados y furgonetas especiales de lujo para safaris. Los jeeps pueden abrirse completamente por los lados para obtener vistas claras e ininterrumpidas. Ambas opciones tienen un techo desplegable para permitir una mejor fotografía. 

Campamentos y lodges

Por lo general, solemos alojarnos en instalaciones de alojamiento de buen nivel en las que todas las habitaciones tienen baño privado y están equipadas con equipos de carga de baterías. La comida y los servicios también deben ser de buen nivel. En cada parque o reserva, solemos ofrecer una opción estándar y otra de lujo. El alojamiento es en régimen de pensión completa (comida, cena y desayuno).

En Tsavo Este, nos alojaremos en el campamento estándar Sentrim Tarhi, que está situado en el centro, en una zona muy frecuentada por los elefantes, o en el lodge Ngutuni, con una concurrida charca, que se encuentra en un rancho privado adyacente al Parque.

En Tsavo West, tenemos dos opciones de lodge, ambas con balsas de agua muy concurridas y hermosas vistas. Uno es estándar (Ngulia Lodge) y el otro es de lujo (Kilaguni Lodge).

En el Amboseli, nos alojaremos en el Sentrim Camp estándar (a las afueras del parque) o en el lujoso Serena Lodge.

En el lago Naivasha, recomendamos el Carnelleys Camp como opción estándar y el Lake Naivasha Simba o Sopa como opción de lujo.

En el Masai Mara, nos alojaremos en el Fig Tree Camp dentro del parque como opción de lujo. Fig Tree está en una buena zona que permite el acceso a todo el Mara y se encuentra en el río Talek. Para una opción estándar, nos alojaremos en el Duma Camp (o similar) justo en la puerta de Talek.

En el lago Nakuru, nos alojaremos en el Sentrim Lodge estándar en el lago Elementaita. Desde aquí, podemos hacer una excursión de día completo al PN del Lago Nauru. La opción de lujo es el Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.

En el Santuario de Ol Pejeta, nos alojaremos en el lujoso Sweetwaters Tented Camp. Este campamento tiene uno de los abrevaderos más concurridos, con muchos animales diferentes que bajan a beber.

En Samburu, nos alojaremos en el Samburu Simba Lodge estándar en The Buffalo Springs. Nuestra opción de lujo es el Elephant Bedroom Camp.

Nuestros guías

Contamos con un equipo de guías de safari profesionales bien formados y con experiencia en el guiado de safaris especialmente para fotógrafos. Escucharán sus objetivos fotográficos específicos y juntos planificarán las actividades del día a día de manera que le den la mejor oportunidad de cumplir con estos objetivos. Nuestros guías conductores son pacientes y están bien informados. Conocen el arte de posicionar el vehículo en los avistamientos para ofrecerle las mejores vistas y encuadres  fotográficos, entendiendo muy bien los que supone la luz para un fotógrafo de fauna. Tienen un profundo y extenso conocimiento de los parques de Kenia y le llevarán a las zonas que le den la mejor oportunidad de ver lo que específicamente desea ver.

Nuestros conductores-guías respetan al máximo la naturaleza/vida salvaje y las comunidades. En todo momento intentarán asegurarse de que nuestras actividades no perturben la vida salvaje. Las aglomeraciones en los avistamientos, la basura, los vehículos todoterreno, el ruido y el exceso de velocidad en los parques son algunos de los problemas que evitamos. Entre los parques y las reservas, donde conducimos por las carreteras, nuestros conductores-guías se encargarán de que la conducción sea segura y le ayude a relajarse. Tratamos con respeto a otros conductores-guías y a sus turistas y mediamos en las interacciones de nuestros huéspedes y las comunidades locales para garantizar que sean justas para ambos.

These safari packages are customized to the needs of photographers. In so doing, we have specific considerations.

Group Size

These safari packages are specifically designed for small groups of guests. In each vehicle, we would usually have 3 guests to allow each a full row of seats. However, we can have a maximum 6 guests per vehicle if they are all willing to share the same row of seats with each guest enjoying a window seat.

For dedicated photographers, we highly recommend a maximum of 3 guests per vehicle to allow each access to an entire row (2 seats) exclusively for their use. This way, the guests can photograph from both sides of the vehicle depending on the sightings. One seat can also be used by the guest for the equipment. If need be, we can also remove one or two rows of seats as per the request of the guest to allow for best photography and or/filming.

Vehicles

Our vehicles are built to the needs of photographers. We have 2 transport options; customized 4X4 Safari Landcruiser jeeps and special luxury safari vans. The Jeeps can be fully opened on the sides for clear uninterrupted views. Both options have a pop-up roof to allow for better photography.

Camps & lodges

Generally, we usually stay in good standard accommodation facilities where all the rooms have private bathrooms and equipped with battery charging equipment. Food and services should also be of good standard. In each park/reserve, we would normally offer a standard option and a luxury option. Accommodation is on full board basis (lunch, dinner and breakfast).

In Tsavo East, we will stay at a standard Sentrim Tarhi Camp that is centrally located in an area popular with elephants or at Ngutuni lodge with a busy waterhole that is in a private ranch adjacent to the Park.

In Tsavo West, we have 2 lodge options, both with busy waterholes and beautiful views. One is standard (Ngulia Lodge) while the other is Luxury (Kilaguni Lodge).

At the Amboseli, we will stay at the standard Sentrim Camp (just outside the park) or at the luxury Serena Lodge.

At Lake Naivasha, we recommend Carnelleys Camp as a standard option and Lake Naivasha Simba or Sopa as a luxury option.

In The Masai Mara, we will stay at Fig Tree Camp inside the park as a luxury option. Fig Tree is in a good area that allows access to all of the Mara and sits on Talek River. For a standard option, we will stay at the Duma Camp (or similar) right at the Talek gate.

At Lake Nakuru, we stay at the standard Sentrim Lodge at the Lake Elementaita. From here, we can do a full day excursion to Lake Nauru NP. The luxury option is Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.

At Ol Pejeta Sanctuary, we will stay at the luxury Sweetwaters Tented Camp. This Camp has one of the busiest waterholes with many different animals coming down to drink.

At Samburu, we will stay at the standard Samburu Simba Lodge in The Buffalo Springs. Our luxury option is the Elephant Bedroom Camp.

Our guides

We have a dedicated team of professional safari driver guides who are well trained and experienced in safari guiding especially for photographers. They will listen to your specific photography objectives and together plan the day to day activities in a way that gives you the best chance to meet these objectives. Our driver guides are patient and knowledgeable. They know the art of positioning of the vehicle at sightings to give you the best photographic views. They have a deep and extensive knowledge of the parks in Kenya and will take you to areas that gives you the best chance to see what you specifically wish to see.

Our driver guides have utmost respect for nature/wildlife and the communities. They will at all times try to ensure that our activities do not result in disturbance to wildlife. Crowding around at sightings, littering, off-roading, noise and speeding in the parks are some of the issues we shun. In between the parks and reserves where we drive on the highways, our driver guides will ensure safe driving that helps you to relax. We deal with other driver guides and their tourists with respect and mediate interactions of our guests and local communities to ensure they are fair to both.
